← Reloading A-Z: all steps

Fullbore target rifle has a long tradition, and depending on the competition, ammunition may be issued or restricted to specific cartridges and bullet weights, commonly .308 Winchester or .223 Remington.

Where handloading is allowed, the focus is on consistent, accurate ammunition within the rules. Always check the match program and governing body rules for what is permitted before you load.

Many fullbore shooters bring the same careful brass prep and load development used in other precision disciplines to their allowed components.
