For a long time the goal behind Black Plague Precision has been simple. Build a place where the entire long range shooting community can find real information, real resources, and real people pushing the sport forward. Today we are excited to finally say the new Black Plague Precision website is live. From the beginning the vision was never to focus on just one corner of the sport. Long range shooting is bigger than any single discipline. PRS, F Class, Benchrest, ELR, Rimfire, Fullbore, Airgun and more all share the same core challenge. Precision at distance. The new site is being built to represent all of it.
Every major discipline now has a home on the platform. Each section is being developed with the goal of helping shooters understand what the discipline is, what equipment is commonly used, and where they can go to learn more. If you are new to long range shooting and have no idea where to start, this site is meant to help you figure that out. Different ranges support different distances. Different disciplines require different equipment. Instead of guessing, you can explore the options and see what direction makes sense for you. The main focus of the new site is simple. Resources for the discipline you want to shoot. Instead of digging through endless posts or scattered information, the goal is to put the important things front and center so shooters can quickly understand their options.
And for those who have been with us for a while, don’t worry. All the old favorites are still there. The newsletters, articles, podcasts, and YouTube videos haven’t gone anywhere. They are just organized a little deeper in the site now. Not hidden, just not screaming for attention on the front page. What is in your face now is what matters most. Clear paths to the disciplines, resources for each one, and the information needed to help shooters move forward.
What you are seeing today is Phase One.
This project is ambitious and, frankly, nobody has ever attempted to build a centralized resource that tries to represent every major long range discipline in one place. Because of that, it will continue to grow and evolve. Sections will expand. New guides will be added. More educational material will roll out through articles, graphics, podcasts, and videos. In the meantime, we ask for a little patience as the system continues to develop. If you find something that looks wrong, send us an email. If you notice something missing that you believe should be included, let us know. If you have a resource that genuinely helps shooters and should be part of the platform, reach out. This has always been about the community. The new website is simply the next step in building something that serves it. Thank you to everyone who has supported Black Plague Precision and helped get us to this point.
We are just getting started.
PS: As always, the website is optimized for desktop. We know a good portion of you visit on mobile and we will continue working to improve that experience. For now, if you want to see everything the way it was designed, jump on your desktop.
