Long range precision shooting is built around the rifle, but figuring out what to build, how to build it, and which companies to trust can be overwhelming. Our goal with this section is to create a resource that helps shooters understand the equipment, components, and decisions that go into building rifles across the different long range disciplines including PRS, F Class, Benchrest, ELR, Rimfire, and more.
This effort is tied directly to the Black Plague Precision community builds. As we work with leading companies across the industry to build rifles for multiple disciplines, this section will document the process behind those builds. From actions and barrels to stocks, optics, and supporting equipment, the goal is to help shooters better understand what to build, how to build it, and who to build with.
We also want to thank the companies you see here who believed in this project early and chose to support the effort from the beginning. Their investment helps make these community builds possible while we continue developing articles, videos, and podcast conversations around the entire rifle building process.
